Thank You from Jampa Kalsang

Dear Friends,

First of all, Happy Valentine’s Day. A day set aside in the year to bring to mind love. To remember and appreciate our loved one(s). Love for a partner but also everyone in our world. With this in mind, I want to thank each and every one of you. For your love and kindness, your support and generosity, for me and my family. You helped us get through a very difficult moment. And in doing so, you gave us the strength to go through this experience, as relaxed and wide awake as possible. My family and I are now renting a new place and rebuilding our lives as best we can and with the direct knowledge that all compounded things are impermanent, that everything, everything, changes. Our practice has been an invaluable support and refuge. As Pema Chödrön says in her book, When Things Fall Apart, “This very moment is the perfect teacher.”

There will never be another moment like this one. So, appreciate it. Easy to do if it’s pleasant. Difficult when it’s painful. "Just seeing what’s going on – that's the teaching right there."

Yours in the Dharma,
A compounded thing they call, Jampa
