I See You, Mara!

Can we face the appearance of the “demons” of craving, aversion, and ignorance with wisdom and compassion? Mara is a character who frequently appeared throughout the Buddha’s life. Often appearing so as to taunt and distract the Buddha. Instead of ignoring or driving him away, the Buddha would simply acknowledge him and say, “I see you Mara”.
