Attitude is Everything

We are advised and encouraged to always have a good attitude especially when faced with difficulties or challenges. But this attitude is usually rooted in thinking of ourselves first. We force ourselves to think positively and everything will be alright, for me. But can we transform how we perceive our world with an attitude of thinking of others first? And at the same time relieve our own discomfort?

We continue with the Sixth Point of the Lojong, Mind Training teachings which focus on the commitments or disciplines of the practice. We examine three maxims beginning with “Change your attitude, but remain natural.” (Sixth Point: Part 2 of 4)
