Description

“Ordinary awareness, free and open,
Is impossible to convey in words; you must know it for yourself
When fabrication and fixation are naturally allowed to expire—
That is what is called ‘knowing the essence of mind’.”
– Mipham Rinpoche

In this retreat we will:

  1. Explore the simple but profound basics of Dharma practice taught by the Buddha and Dharma ancestors through the lens of the boundless View of Dzogchen (The Great Completion).

  2. Share lunch and get to know each other in a supportive and safe environment.

  3. Practice the Dzogchen “Guru Yoga of the White Ah” together.

  4. Read, discuss, and contemplate sacred texts in small groups.

  5. Study the 3-fold division of View, Practice, and Conduct as a way to unify and integrate our heart, mind, and life with the Dharma.

Franz Manfredi

Amazed and inspired by the incredible depth and diversity in every tradition of Buddhism, Franz endeavors to share the harmony he sees between them all. Rooted in his ongoing studies of the Suttas, Mahayana, and Dzogchen, Franz’s passion to share the teachings of the Buddha springs from the revolution they have created in his own life.
