Description

The date for our 2025 celebration has not been set. Check back here or subscribe to our email to be the first to know.

Every year in December, Long Beach Meditation hosts an evening of dinner, conversations, joy, and sharing. This wonderful evening serves to bring our community together and is an expression of our gratitude. So many here give their time, contribute ideas, and open their hearts. We honor all who are the strength of this organization. This includes our skilled teachers, dedicated board members, gracious volunteers, generous monthly donors, and most importantly all those who make Long Beach Meditation what it is. All are welcome.

This Sangha Celebration is also a time to acknowledge the organization’s accomplishments throughout the year, highlight member support, as well as provide an opportunity for end-of-year giving. Your generous contributions help sustain quality meditation classes and events and help keep our programs low-cost and accessible to all.

To help raise funds for the organization, there will be a raffle! Please donate anything you think may be of value to others. We have a list of ideas, but feel free to offer anything that feels close to your heart:

  • Catalina Island boat fare
  • Buddhist books or series
  • Local performance, venue, or movie tickets
  • Themed gift baskets
  • Dance/workout classes
  • Gift cards for local restaurants, or cafés
  • Meditation themed items
  • Aquarium of the Pacific tickets

Also, to help keep our event costs low, we ask those interested to bring a dessert for sharing. We are seeking volunteers who would like to help with planning, setup and cleanup. Please join us for an unforgettable night of joy, community, and generosity all in celebration of the people of Long Beach Meditation.

If you would like to help with planning, volunteer for setup/cleanup, or bring a dish, please RSVP and you’ll find the option to sign up as a volunteer during checkout.
