Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Payments
For all paid programs, pre-registration and payment are required. To encourage early registration, same day registration may be offered at a higher fee. A program requires at least 5 pre-registered paid participants in order to proceed and registration is generally limited to and closed at 25 participants.
Installment Payments
An installment payment plan request must be submitted in writing or via email (preferred) to info@longbeachmeditation.org If approved, an installment payment plan may be initiated at the discretion of Long Beach Meditation.
Scholarships
Those who are unable to pay may be eligible for a partial program fee reduction through our Scholarship Program. We ask that participants contribute what they are able to. We consider all scholarship requests and do our best to accommodate as many as possible. Eligibility is at the discretion of Long Beach Meditation. Program Cancellation and Refunds
All programs are subject to cancellation by Long Beach Meditation upon notice. Notice may be given by email to the address you have provided to us, or by any other means. Registration fees for programs that are canceled by Long Beach Meditation will be refunded in full, less the cost of all programs attended when applicable.
Registrant Cancellation: A minimum 24-hour prior cancellation notice is required to be eligible for a refund. Registrants may not apply a previous purchase for a program they failed to cancel or attend towards the cost of any future programs without permission from Long Beach Meditation. All other requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To submit a cancellation notice or request a refund, registrants must contact Long Beach Meditation by calling 562-448-6887, in writing or via email (preferred) at info@longbeachmeditation.org
For anyone wishing to cancel a program registration, the following cancellation and refund policy applies. Any exceptions to this policy will be noted on the program, class, retreat, or event listing. Donations are non refundable.
Cancellation and refund policy for non-residential retreats, class series and special events:
> 1 day – 100% refund
< 1 day – no refund
Residential Retreats with or without Scholarship Support
> 3 days – amount paid less $25
< 3 days – amount paid less $85
Sustaining Membership Cancellation
Your membership can be cancelled by you online at any time. Please visit the My Account section, My Donations, Recurring Donations to do so.
Data and Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. It is Long Beach Meditation’s policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including across our website, longbeachmeditation.org, and other sites we own and operate.
Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
