Be Your Own Valentine
Ignite Love and Compassion from the Inside Out
with Rosamaría Segura
Saturday, February 15th
10:00AM - 12:00PM
In Person Only
This Valentine’s Day, give yourself the gift of love and join us for a nurturing morning of Metta meditation and a soothing sound bath.
In Pali, Metta means "loving-kindness"— a practice that transcends emotions to cultivate a state of mind where kindness and love flow toward all living beings. Buddhism teaches that loving-kindness is not only directed outward, but also inward, fostering unconditional love, care, and attention towards all beings, including ourselves.
During this retreat, you will practice how to nourish self-love and compassion, while also cultivating the seed for boundless love and kindness towards others. Together, we will co-create a space of connection and stillness, quiet the mind and relax the body, supported by easy-to-follow meditation instructions and a soothing sound bath.
Schedule
Rosamaria will offer guided meditations to practice self care and compassion, silent sitting and a soothing sound bath with crystal bowls and other instruments.
10:00 am – Welcome and Introductions
10:10 am – Meditation
10:45 am – Tea Break
11:00 am – Sound Bath and Meditation
